Large Bambu Box (39x25x10cm, Free Shipping)

Our Bambu Box is a heat-treated compressed bamboo wood chassis designed for making tube amplifiers. It's DIY friendly because it is

• spacious. We love film caps sound for our amplifiers, but those big caps cannot fit in the usual slim chassis. So order order hard treated bamboo and make our own chassis. Now with the 10cm height, there is still space to mount tube sockets under the top plate even after putting big film caps inside.
• flexible in application. Since no holes are pre-drilled, and the 4 sides look similar so that you can choose which side to be the back panel. You can use one chassis alone for a stereo amp. Or use two for monoblock.
• anti-flipping. For DIY project we need lots of modifications and testing. We often flip the chassis upside down to monitor live voltage, but I do want a better option. This chassis is designed to be able to add support under the top plate so that you can open it from the top, rather than from the bottom. It's much easier and safer that way.
• dual-colored (top plate). Each box comes with two aluminum plates, one black and one silver. You can choose which one will be the top plate.

Since the wood is thicker than RCA jacks or switches, we trim the wood at the back of the jacks or controls, and at the back of the front switches. Please specify your triming requirement upon ordering.

To reduce the shipping cost, Bambu Box will be shipped as disassembled. We don't use screws to join the bamboo wood together for the beauty of the surface. Liquid nails will be recommended. If you can cover the additional shipping cost ($50 additional), we can ship the whole Bamboo Box assembled.
