This is not the usual hideous extruded clamshell container. Or thin metal top plate clad with a bit of something on the side Banjo box. The extrusion is a one piece U-shaped anodized aluminum housing. Bottom plate is 1.25 mm painted steel. Back plate is 3 mm 3 mm aluminum, and the extrusion itself is 4 mm aluminum. So we have the perfect box for all of our projects -- nonmagnetic, thick aluminum, nonresonant, easy to mill and drill. Big enough to accommodate one of our DAC and power transformer and UTS modules.
